It's been a really rough week at work, and I'm struggling with things that are beyond my control. There are two thoughts that came to me today. The first was through a book that a dear friend gave me for my birthday last year:
"Let go and let God. Let Him take over your life and run it. He knows how." - Positive Thinking Every Day
There is nothing in that excerpt that I did not already know. I just needed to be reminded of it. The second "reminder" came in the form of a slide presentation that another friend sent via email. I have not heard from her in quite some time, and the timing of her email was clearly the hand of God.

- "What is the shortest chapter of the Bible? Psalm 117
- What is the longest chapter of the Bible? Psalm 119
- Which chapter is in the center of the Bible? Psalm 118
- There are 594 chapters before Psalm 118. There are 594 chapters after Psalm 118. Add these numbers up and you get 1188.
- What is the center verse in the Bible? Psalm 118:8
- Does this verse say something significant about God's perfect will for our lives?
- The next time someone says they would like to find God's perfect will for their lives and that they want to be in the center of His will, just send them to the center of His Word!
- Psalm 118:8 (NKJV) It is better to trust the Lord than to put confidence in man."
